Speckendicken

Ingredients:

Mettwurst and bacon as desired
Buckwheat flour 500 g
Eggs 2-3
Milk ¼ l
Syrup 2 tbsp
Baking powder ½ tsp
Pinch of salt
A little clarified butter

Preparation

  1. Cut as much bacon and mettwurst as you want into small pieces.
  2. Mix together 500 g buckwheat flour, 2–3 eggs, ¼ l milk, 2 tbsp syrup, ½ tsp baking powder and a little salt.
  3. Grease a waffle iron with clarified butter and cook the batter in portions. Note: The bacon and mettwurst are only added to the batter when cooking. All that remains is to open a bottle of Jever and tuck in.
