Fishburger
The Burger according to a typical Frisian recipe!
Ingredients:
Potatoes | 150 g |
Cod fish | 500 g |
Salt | 1 tsp |
Eggs | 2 |
Parsley, a little flour, breadcrumbs, a little oil, burger buns, tomato, cucumber, onion, remoulade | Topping of choice |
Preparation
- Boil 150 g of potatoes in salted water for about 20 minutes and mash them after draining the water.
- Cut 500 g of cod fish into small pieces and then puree in a blender with the potatoes and some parsley.
- Add salt and pepper to taste. Form meatballs from the mass.
- Now coat the meatballs in flour, eggs and breadcrumbs and let them sit for a while.
- When the grill is up to temperature, brush the patties with a little oil and grill for about 5 minutes on each side.
- Then place the patties in the burger buns and garnish with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and tartar sauce as desired. Enjoy your meal!
